In total agreement with you azzy1971. Humans are pretty good at painting every sea shell with a color. I can imagine how one word or statement from a messenger or a scholar can be turned into novels by people. We found the enemy and it is us.

The central theme and message in Rumi's poems is the smelting of human into the creator by unconditional love - what results in the reunion of human and divine - leading to the consequence that every being is from divine origin, what mankind has forgotten. Being aware of the entity of creator and creation the man, which understood himself as an separated individual begins to awake feeling that the creator has taken place in the human. So the man becomes to the center of his own wheel of life.

With out doubt one of the gretest Sufi and this poem fully symbolises what is in his mind. Forget about where's he from and who he was celebrate this amazing thinkers depth of understanding that most of us will never come any where near close to in matching and then show him the respect by following his example.

By saying that he is not from east or west he says that he is a human being, indifferent of geographical positions or other means of categorization
